Basic Induction.

Now as you listen to me and hear my voice I want you to settle yourself in the place you are lying or sitting. Make sure the position is comfortable because as you listen to my voice you are going to become gradually relaxed. (break)

Move your attention to your breath and take 3 deep breaths. Inhaling deeply and when you exhale feel all your tension leave your body. (break)

Now choose something in front of you to focus on, it may be a point on the ceiling. Focus on this point breathe deep and relax deeply. (break)

Your muscles are relaxing, deeply relaxing. (break)

Your eyelids are becoming droopy and closing down. (break)

Feel yourself sinking slowly and going deep and deeper into a wonderful state of relaxation. (break)

Mind is awake and aware, and your muscles are going loose and limp.

I am going tell you to take four deep breathes, one for each corner of a square. With each breath concentrate on filling your lungs with tranquil fresh air. When exhaling let any residual tension flow from your body. (break)

Ok 1 inhaling deeply and exhaling. (break)
2 inhaling and exhaling feel all that tension just run away. (break)
3 deeper and more relaxed. (break)
4 totally flushing out that last remaining tension, rendering your body loose and limp. (break)

Imagine yourself on the edge of a beautiful stream that is moving and flowing past. See the sparkle and hear the sound of the running water. Notice how the water makes you feel calm. (break)

But see how good it feels to let them go of them now. (break)

As you relax deeper, sense what your body is touching. You do not have to forget what you are sitting or lying on just breath deep and relax deeply. (break)

Allow your hands to go floppy. Begin to close your hands, tense your hands into a tight fist. Hold for two seconds, one, two. Then relax this will allow you to relax deeper. (break)
