How to Use These Relaxation Techniques.
These relaxation and mood altering scripts
are designed to read into a recorder by the client. This way
the client’s own voice is the source of trust and guidance.
Make sure you take time to record these scripts in a quiet location
where you are undisturbed. When reading this script and making
a recording, read with a relaxed and slightly sleepy voice.
Where the script says ‘(break)’ pause for a good
three seconds before recommencing.
When listening to these recordings made for
yourself make sure you are again in a place where you are undisturbed.
After coming round from a recording allow some time to come
round before starting normal activities. We hope you find these
recordings helpful.
Basic Induction.
Now as you listen to me and hear my voice I
want you to settle yourself in the place you are lying or sitting.
Make sure the position is comfortable because as you listen
to my voice you are going to become gradually relaxed. (break)
Move your attention to your breath and take
3 deep breaths. Inhaling deeply and when you exhale feel all
your tension leave your body. (break)
Now choose something in front of you to focus
on, it may be a point on the ceiling. Focus on this point breath
deep and relax deeply. (break)
Your muscles are relaxing, deeply relaxing.
(break)
Your eyelids are becoming droopy and closing
down. (break)
Feel yourself sinking slowly and going deep
and deeper into a wonderful state of relaxation. (break)
Mind is awake and aware, and your muscles are
going loose and limp.
I am going tell you to take four deep breathes,
one for each corner of a square. With each breath concentrate
on filling your lungs with tranquil fresh air. When exhaling
let any residual tension flow from your body. Ok 1 inhaling
deeply and exhaling. 2 inhaling and exhaling feel all that tension
just run away. 3 deeper and more relaxed. 4 totally flushing
out that last remaining tension, rendering your body loose and
limp. (break)
Every time you listen to this recording, you
will enjoy yourself relaxing to a deeper and deeper level. (break)
Your body feels totally relaxed as you start
sinking into deep areas of your subconscious mind. (break)
You are gaining a sense of control over the
world around you and the power to change deeply. (break)
During the day your energy levels will be lifted
and at night your sleep will be deeper and more refreshing.

Hour after hour, in every part of your life,
you are getting better and better. (break)
Each and every sound around you helps take
you further into relaxation. (break)
Keep breathing deeply enjoying greater and
greater relaxation.
As you flow and drift in this deep relaxation
you gain control over your deep subconscious mind. (break)
Imagine yourself on the edge of a beautiful stream that is moving
and flowing past. See the sparkle and hear the sound of the
running water. Notice how the water makes you feel calm. (break)
On the beautiful stream I want you to let all
your troubles just drift away. (break)
You can bring them back at any time. (break)
But see how good it feels to let them go of
them now. (break)
Anymore troubles that enter your mind just
let them bob of down the stream as well. (break)
As you relax deeper, sense what your body is
touching. You do not have to forget what you are sitting or
lying on just breath deep and relax deeply. (break)
Each sound that you here relaxes you more completely.

Allow your hands to go floppy. Begin to close
your hands, tense your hands into a tight fist. Hold for two
seconds, one, and two. Then relax this will allow you to relax
deeper. (break)
Deeper and deeper. (break)
Your mind is aware and your body is loose and
limp.
Building Self belief.
I want you to imagine yourself in a beautiful
relaxing scene. Somewhere that you feel calm and at peace. It
could be a lake side, a mountain valley or a beautiful beach.
(break)
Notices the richness of the colours in your
relaxing scene as it takes on more detail. (break)
Notice the smells. (break)
Notice the sounds. (break)
And let all this relax and open up your powerful
mind.
As you gain more interest in the relaxing scene,
realize that you are here to gain and strengthen your self belief.
We all have self belief but sometimes we choose to hide it within
ourselves, but sometimes it flows all around us. Notice the
desire in you to believe in yourself effortlessly. Feel the
need to be a self believer and remain absolutely relaxed. Let
that desire build and build and use it to draw out your self
belief. (break)
Imagine inside you a ball of energy in the
centre of your body. This is your self belief. See that it has
a warm but peaceful colour. Sense the faint vibration coming
from the ball showing you its intensity. (break)
Watch as it starts to grow more intense……..watch
as its size and colour grow more intense. Let it fill your chest
and as it does you realize that everyone enjoys meeting with
you. (break)
Feel the energy flow down each leg filling
each foot. Realise as the energy grows how great it is for people
to be around you. (break)
The energy of your self belief is now filling
your arms and growing and growing.
Feel it growing more and more intense, knowing
people will feel that strength in you and be drawn to it. People
around you are becoming hypnotically drawn to your points of
view effortlessly.
As your self belief grows feel it starting
to break free from the surface of your skin. Feel the heat as
it come through and the slight tingle as your self belief grows
and grows.
See the energy of your self belief grow to
fill all the available space around you. (break)
Let it grow and fill the building slowly. (break)
See it come out of the building and rise up
with it. (break)
Let it fill the sky as you move with it. (break)
See it slowly spread across the areas around
until it fills the whole country. Take a sweeping ride along
with it. (break)
Let the energy move from your country to enclose
the whole of the world. See the energy becoming in tune with
everyone who lives. (break)
The energy is now spreading from this earth
out into space. (break)
Now moving across the whole galaxy. (break)
And finally across the whole universe. (break)
Get a sense of how big your self belief can
become.
All that energy is now going to come rushing
back to you with all the added intensity that is has gained
on its out ward journey. Coming back to you from the universe…….the
galaxy……rushing across the earth back to you….zooming
across your country back into the area where you are to the
immediate space around you and then back into your body. Feel
how strong the energy is inside you and how capable you are
of believing in yourself whenever you wish.
Relax and breathe deep and bring back the awareness
of the room around you. (break)
Relax deeper and deeper. (break)
Hour by hour your life is getting better and
better. Ay by day you have the strength to get over any obstacles
in the way of the life that you want.
You feel great, you feel good, you feel completely
and wholly relaxed. In a moment I am going to count from one
to three on three you will be completely awake and feeling better
than ever before. Ok one, gaining awareness of everything around
you, two opening your eyes and feeling ready to completely awake.
Three awake stretching and feeling great.
