THE 7 CLASSIC CHAKRAS

Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning ‘wheel’. The 7 major or traditional Chakras are energy vortex centres located within the body, along the spinal column. They receive and transmit energy and information to and from our environment. They are different in colour, purpose, and energy vibration. Below is an outline of the 7 main chakras;

THE BASE CHAKRA - RED
LOCATION: Base of the spine.

THE SACRAL CHAKRA - ORANGE
LOCATION: Approx. 4 finger width below navel.

THE SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA - YELLOW
LOCATION: Above stomach below breast bone.

THE HEART CHAKRA - GREEN
LOCATION: Centre of chest.

THE THROAT CHAKRA - BLUE
LOCATION: The Throat.

THE THIRD EYE CHAKRA - INDIGO
LOCATION: Centre of forehead.

THE CROWN CHAKRA - VIOLET
LOCATION: Top and centre of head.

SANSKRIT: The ancient Indian Sanskrit name for the Chakra.
LOCATION: The physical location of the Chakra within the body.
PHYSICAL: The physical areas where the Chakra has influence.
PURPOSE: Your energetic and spiritual relationship with the world.
BALANCED: Feelings and behaviours when the Chakra is balanced and flowing freely.
UNBALANCED: Feelings and behaviours when the Chakra is unbalanced, damaged or blocked.
UNBALANCED BY: Events and/or, behaviours that can bring about the Chakras imbalance.
STRENGTHEN: Things you can do to aid and strengthen the Chakra.
CRYSTALS: A list of crystals that can support and strengthen the energies of the Chakra.
