COLOUR VIBRATIONS
Colour is everywhere; it’s all around
us in nature, in our man made environments and of course our
clothing. Colour affects us in more ways than we could possibly
imagine. Colour can influence our choice of which bank we use,
which airline we want to fly with, whether a company appears
honest and friendly or not, to choosing one chocolate bar over
another. Colour pervades our every waking minute, yet we seem
not to notice how we can be deliberately manipulated and guided
by it. Below are the positive and negative vibrations of colour,
so next time you wear that little red dress or that red tie
what exactly are you trying to project?

BLACK
Black is not a colour, but the complete absence of colour, although
in China it’s the reverse. The key word for black is transformation.
It is often worn by teenagers during their transformation from
childhood to adulthood. Some find black fearful, as it represents
emptiness, evil and the bottomless void deep inside oneself.
To others it is a safe, impersonal haven where individuality
can be lost. “I will not be noticed wearing the black
dress but everyone will see me wearing a red dress.” Just
look at the predominant colour of clothing, shoes, and accessories
in any store - BLACK!

is why it’s the first choice of the Health and Beauty
industry uniforms.
