How to Use These Relaxation Techniques.

These relaxation and mood altering scripts are designed to read into a recorder by the client. This way the client’s own voice is the source of trust and guidance. Make sure you take time to record these scripts in a quiet location where you are undisturbed. When reading this script and making a recording, read with a relaxed and slightly sleepy voice. Where the script says ‘(break)’ pause for a good three seconds before recommencing.

When listening to these recordings made for yourself make sure you are again in a place where you are undisturbed. After coming round from a recording allow some time to come round before starting normal activities. We hope you find these recordings helpful.

Basic Induction.

Now as you listen to me and hear my voice I want you to settle yourself in the place you are lying or sitting. Make sure the position is comfortable because as you listen to my voice you are going to become gradually relaxed. (break)

Move your attention to your breath and take 3 deep breaths. Inhaling deeply and when you exhale feel all your tension leave your body. (break)

Now choose something in front of you to focus on, it may be a point on the ceiling. Focus on this point breath deep and relax deeply. (break)

Your muscles are relaxing, deeply relaxing. (break)

Your eyelids are becoming droopy and closing down. (break)

Feel yourself sinking slowly and going deep and deeper into a wonderful state of relaxation. (break)

Mind is awake and aware, and your muscles are going loose and limp.

I am going tell you to take four deep breathes, one for each corner of a square. With each breath concentrate on filling your lungs with tranquil fresh air. When exhaling let any residual tension flow from your body. Ok 1 inhaling deeply and exhaling. 2 inhaling and exhaling feel all that tension just run away. 3 deeper and more relaxed. 4 totally flushing out that last remaining tension, rendering your body loose and limp. Every time you listen to this recording, you will enjoy yourself relaxing to a deeper and deeper level. (break)

Your body feels totally relaxed as you start sinking into deep areas of your subconscious mind. (break)

You are gaining a sense of control over the world around you and the power to change deeply. (break)

Imagine yourself on the edge of a beautiful stream that is moving and flowing past. See the sparkle and hear the sound of the running water. Notice how the water makes you feel calm. (break)

On the beautiful stream I want you to let all your troubles just drift away. (break)

You can bring them back at any time. (break)

But see how good it feels to let them go of them now. (break)

Anymore troubles that enter your mind just let them bob of down the stream as well. (break)

As you relax deeper, sense what your body is touching. You do not have to forget what you are sitting or lying on just breath deep and relax deeply. (break)

Each sound that you here relaxes you more completely. (break)

Allow your hands to go floppy. Begin to close your hands, tense your hands into a tight fist. Hold for two seconds, one, and two. Then relax this will allow you to relax deeper. (break)


Deeper and deeper. (break)

Your mind is aware and your body is loose and limp.

Building Inspiration

I want you to imagine yourself in a situation where you feel inspired and up lifted. An image or memory of a special place or activity that files you with energy and high spirits. It may be an art gallery where you have seen an incredible painting, watching a sports star that you admire or a place that is full of abundant beauty (break)

Whatever you imagine is fine (break).

Notices the richness of the colours in your inspirational scene as it takes on more detail. (break)

Notice the textures of things around you in your scene. (break)

Notice any sounds in your inspirational scene. (break)

And let all this relax and open up your powerful mind.

As you gain more interest in the inspirational scene, realize that what you are visualizing is uplifting you and giving you the incredible perspective of calm. We all have the power to allow ourselves to be inspired but sometimes we choose to hide it within ourselves, but sometimes it flows all around us. Notice the desire in yourself to be able to be uplifted and inspired effortlessly giving you the skill to gain perspective immediately on any situation. (break)

It becomes easier to see all the good things about the world and your life. (break)

Each and everyday you find yourself realizing the many options that the abundant world around you offers. (break)

It feels great to be inspired (break)

Your body is completely relaxed and your mind is alive with an energy that makes you feel almost weightless. (break)

Now we are going to picture in your mind a relaxing beach scene.
It may be a beach filled with white soft sand, palm trees and warmth or it might be a beach on the edge of a tropical rain forest with dense green luscious vegetation.
Whatever beach you picture is the right one.
As you picture the beautiful beach scene in your mind, you body relaxes deeply, very deeply.
All of your muscles are going loose, and limp.
As your body relaxes you find that you are creating a positive you in your subconscious mind.
It is easier to imagine positive images of your future
Now as you see your beautiful beach scene, picture a boat somewhere out to sea. (break)
It may be a large boat, or a small fishing tug, or a white yacht.
Whatever boat you picture in your mind, it will be the right boat.
As you look at the boat on the sea, you are going deeper and deeper into this wonderful, relaxing state of mind. (break)
You conscious power to feel constantly uplifted is getting greater and greater
Now as you look at the beach and sea area, picture your boat turning and moving (break)
As you watch the boat sailing, your body relaxes further. At the same time you are accessing deep areas of your subconscious mind.
You are able to see greater detail in your beach scene. (break)
As the beautiful beach is becoming clearer and clearer, you are going deeper and deeper into this wonderful, relaxing state of mind.

Now as you watch the boat sailing, see how as if travels away from you it becomes smaller and if it comes towards you it becomes larger and larger.
As the boat sails all around in front of you, relax and open up the area where you keep your thoughts about your future as in a minute we are going to put inspirational energy there. (break)
Now as you watch the boat moving and sailing in the beach scene, I want you to start reciting the alphabet in your mind. Now recite the alphabet to yourself slowly from A to Z. (break)
Recite A, B, C, D, E and so on. As you are reciting, see the boat and the beach scene sailing back and forth and bobbing on the see. (break)
Continue reciting the letters slowly and watching the boat. You find yourself understanding that you have a choice whether you future is what you desire. Place in your mind a powerful belief of your fantastic future that you know deep down that you are able to achieve (break)

Keep reciting the alphabet over and over and as you do you are relaxing and going deeper into this wonderful state of hypnosis. (break) (break) (break)

Go deeper and sounder into hypnosis. You feel great. You feel at peace. You feel perfectly and completely relaxed. (break)
Stop reciting and move away from the picture of the beach scene. (break)
Relax and let go of the images of the beach. You are relaxing more with each and every breath that you take and each and every sound that you here.

You are finding that day by day you have the strength to get over any obstacles in the way of the life you want. You feed quality into everything you do. Day by day you realize how strong your self belief has become.
It feels great to have a positive future. (break)
Day by day your power over your negative energy grows and grows. You find that you can consciously reduce your uplift yourself instantly (break)
Your life is becoming balanced and more at peace. You have control. (break)

After you arouse yourself from this session you will find yourself better able to stay positive with the world around you.
